How do I host a website I built with AI?
It depends on what the AI tool actually created. Some projects generate simple website files that can be uploaded to a traditional web server. Others may require a specific framework, database, server environment or other technology. WebTec can review the project and determine exactly what is required.
Can WebTec host a website that another AI tool created?
In many cases, yes. As long as we can access the website files or project and the technology can be deployed to an appropriate hosting environment, we can usually help. Our first step is simply reviewing what you have.
Do I need to understand the code before contacting you?
No. That's exactly what we're here for. You can send us what you have and our developers can determine what was created and what is needed to get it running.
Can you connect my AI website to a domain I already own?
Yes. We can help configure the DNS and point an existing domain to the website. WebTec can also provide ongoing domain management if you would rather have us handle that for you.
Can you help if my website needs a form, database or API?
Yes. Those features may require additional development or a different hosting environment, but our development team can review the requirements and help determine the best solution.
Can WebTec make changes to my AI-built website later?
Yes. Unlike a traditional WordPress website, an AI-developed website may not have an easy visual editor or administrative backend. In those situations, WebTec can use AI-assisted development or traditional custom development to make changes directly to the website files.
Do I have to rebuild my AI website in WordPress?
Not necessarily. We will first determine whether the website you already created can be hosted and maintained reasonably. If we believe rebuilding part or all of it in a traditional content management system would make more sense long-term, we'll explain why and let you decide.
